WAKE UP

 

Being able to listen to monks while they are practising their prayers, I was drawn into a fascinating world of sound and absolute quietness. Rituals that help achieving peace of mind and powerful awakeness at the same time.  

 

These pictures are part of an ongoing series of portraits of monks in Wat Samor Prong, Hua Hin and Wat Noen Sawan Mong Kon Tam, Branburi, Thailand. Parts of the sales of signed and numbered prints contribute to the monastery maintenance funds.
